What It Takes to Be a Good Official
A great official needs more than a whistle. You need a strong understanding of the rules, a love of athletics, physical ability, self-confidence, dedication, determination, and personal integrity.
Players look at each game as important. Officials must treat each game the same way by being prepared, professional, fair, and willing to make decisions with confidence.
Training Process

The Biggest Challenge
The biggest adjustment is becoming a decision maker. Sometimes people will not like decisions that do not go their way. That does not mean you are a bad official — it means you are doing the job.
