Friday night lights are back in Royal Oak. Detroit Sports Club’s 2026 Fall 8v8 Flag Football League brings one of Metro Detroit’s most competitive adult flag football formats to Worden Park.
This is full-field adult flag football with open-hand blocking, downfield blocking, big plays, physical competition, and the kind of Friday night atmosphere players love.
Only 10 team spots are available. Once the league is full, registration closes.

Built for Full-Field Football
8v8 flag football is built for teams that love the full-field game. You get the speed of flag football with the strategy, spacing, blocking, route combinations, and intensity of traditional football.
The season will include a six or seven-game regular season, depending on the final number of teams. Top teams will advance to a single-elimination playoff.
Registration Options
Register as a full team or join the league as an individual free agent.
Team Registration
Team entry is $775 per team + 3.9% processing fee.
A $395 deposit is required to secure your team’s spot. The remaining balance will be due Week 1 at the game field.
Each team will also pay $54 per game for official fees, paid at the field.
Team rosters may include up to 16 players. Rosters and player waivers are due before your first game.
Only the first 10 teams are guaranteed a spot.

Free Agent Registration
Don’t have a full team? No problem.
Free agents can register individually for $85 per player and will be placed on a house team when enough players are available.
We will build house teams of approximately 8–12 players. Have a buddy or two you want to play with? We’ll do our best to place you on the same team.
Free agents should plan to bring $3–$5 per week to cover their share of official fees. Uniforms are not supplied, but house teams can coordinate matching shirts or jerseys together.

How many teams can register?
The league is capped at 10 teams. Once 10 teams are registered, the league will be sold out.
When does the season start?
The season begins Friday, September 11, 2026.
Where are games played?
All games are played at Worden Park in Royal Oak, Michigan.
What nights are games played?
Games are played on Friday evenings between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM.
How many players can be on a roster?
Teams may roster up to 16 players.
Can I register without a team?
Yes. Free agents can register for $85 per player and will be placed on a house team when possible.
Are uniforms included?
Uniforms are not provided. Teams and house teams are responsible for coordinating their own matching shirts or jerseys.
