Rules of the Game:
Official MRPA and National High School Rules shall apply to all league play except where local rule supersedes.
Time A. Two halves of 20 minutes running time.
B. The clock will stop the last two minutes of the SECOND HALF ONLY on shooting fouls, time outs, and all whistles. If a team is winning by 20 or more points within the last (2) minutes of the game, the clock will NOT stop EXCEPT for timeouts.
C. Time Outs: 4 per game; 1 additional per overtime; maximum of 3 per half.
D. In case of a tie game, a three-minute overtime period will be played. The last minute of overtime will be stop clock. One additional time out will be allowed in each overtime period. If a tie still exists at the end of the first overtime period, a second overtime period will be played under the same rules as the first overtime period. If a tie still exists after the second overtime period, then a "sudden death" overtime period will be played. Overtime in playoff games will be the same as regular high school/college games - no "sudden death".
E. During the "running time" portion of the game, the clock will stop ONLY for time outs. The bonus situation goes in effect on the seventh team foul of the half.
F. MERCY: If at any time during the last five minutes of play the score differential is 30 points or higher, the game will be declared a mercy.

B. A team forfeiting a game by failing to put four eligible players on the court at game time, MUST pay both officials fees, a total of $60. This money must be paid before the forfeiting team can play its next game. A team that fails to pay this fee will be dropped from the league. No refunds will be given.
C. The referee may order any game interrupted by a dispute to continue until termination of the game. Any team refusing to finish the game shall suffer a forfeit of that game.

D. The use of a player falsely registered on the roster, or a player not on the roster, or a player playing under and assumed name, or a team deliberately using an illegal player shall result in that team forfeiting all games involved.
